Welcome! Get to Know Us

Newell Place is a friendly residential community located in Glenmont, New York, within the Town of Bethlehem in Albany County. Our neighborhood includes 40 single-family homes set on 53.9 acres, offering a spacious setting with a balance of homes and natural surroundings.
An additional unique feature of Newell Place is its environmentally thoughtful stormwater management system. Twenty-nine homes are served by small bio-retention areas, commonly known as rain gardens. These gardens are designed to manage stormwater naturally while enhancing the beauty of the neighborhood and supporting local environmental health. In addition, Newell Place utilizes 2 acres for storm water management deeded to the Town of Bethlehem.
Your Homeowners Association
The Newell Place Homeowner's Association Board consists of a President, Treasurer, Architectural Chairman and a Grounds Chairman who meet on a monthly basis to discuss issues related to the Newell Community. Our mission is to support a well-maintained, environmentally responsible and welcoming neighborhood while protecting property values, and the overall quality of life for residents.
